The Moser Legacy Furniture Reproduction Gallery

This section of the store is devoted to reproductions of each of the pieces of furniture shown in the original L. O. Moser Furniture Company catalogs.  These catalogs were published in 1928, 1931 and 1932 (although on the later issues the copyright date is not shown, only on the 1928 version).  Each piece was, itself, a reproduction of one of the pieces from the early master designers and makers.  17th, 18th and 19th century master craftsmen like Chippendale, Hepplewhite, Sheraton, Duncan Phyfe, and Thomas Jeffereson  provided the source of designs that were faithfully reproduced at the Moser shop in Lynchburg, Virginia from 1915 and 2005.

For more history of furniture making and style descriptions, see our Preservation News blog.

Today, we offer to reproduce these same works not only from the original catalog, but from the original Moser pattern sets …that hang in our Buena Vista shop (also available for purchase) just like they did for 90 years in the Lynchburg shop…at a price that is a standard multiplier of 18 times (barely a CPI-only adjustment) the prices in the 1928-9 catalog.  Note that certain conditions, limitations and selection options apply.  And remember, customize versions of any item are available upon request and a description of the alterations desired.  Some variations and alternatives may result in additional costs; call for clarification, option selections or price quotations for modifications.
